The TaylorMade R9 Max Driver Japan Model features an overall lighter weight, low deeper center of gravity design and a 45.75" length. The combo of these assets creates a club that is easier to hit and produce a faster swing speed with more carry and distance. Of course TaylorMade R9 Max Driver Japan Model still features the same FCT setup that the R9 is so famous for. This is simply a package for golfers who have fewer egos and want more pop to their driver.

The new R9 Max Driver from Taylormade Japan features Flight Control Technology (FCT) which lets the player adjust, face angle, loft and lie. The R9 also has one back weight port with a 4g weight (MWT) to promote a deeper CG and increase MOI for forgiveness and optimal trajectory. Classic club head shape with high MOI for easy launch and maximum performance. The R9 Max also features TM's Inverte Cone Technology milled directly to the inner side of the face which golfplayer creates an expanded COR zone. The R9 Max also uses Ultra Thin Wall technology allowing for thinner club head walls for weight savings.
