Arguably the best fairway wood on the market today, the TaylorMade R9 fairway wood uses the very best in flight control technology (FCT) which allows you to change the face angle, loft and lie. A total of 36 yards potential trajectory change allowing you to select your preferred ball flight and shot shape whether it’s a high draw or a low fade and even straight give you total control over your game.

 

The TaylorMade R9 fairway wood features a traditional club head with the addition of highly advanced technology to combine a sleek head that delivers super-high MOI and easy launching due to the position of the CG. The lower and central CG helps keep the sole level at impact for less drag and reduced turf interaction for solid impact at strike giving you consistent club face contact that delivers quality performance.

 

 

 

A high tariff Fujikura Motore 70 gram graphite shaft which operates with a High Inertia Tip (H.I.T.TM) for incredible clubhead speed through the golf ball exploding the ball off the clubface. The R9 is increasingly easy to hit off the fairway and even out of the rough bringing all par 5’s into reach setting up eagle chances to help lower your scores.

  The club is good for driving the ball. Unit is great if it doesn't break company awful to deal with for warranty...My thoughts areif you want a good driver make sure the company your dealing with will look after you. R9 Fairway Wood is the best. Thank you.

  TaylorMade R9 fairway wood has hit quite a few fairway woods over the years and have found the G15 #4 wood to be the best I have come across! Very easy to hit cleanly and it produces sufficient heighth to the shot and a lot of distance. The feel is also good.
