Callaway X-22 Irons, the best X-Series Irons are made by callaway. The perimeter weighting of the X-22s has been maximized for a moment of inertia (MOI) that's 10 percent higher than their predecessors, meaning you get more forgiveness on off-center strikes. The ideal center of gravity position has been preserved, generating optimal ball-flight trajectories. X-22 irons also incorporate the Modified Tru-Bore design, dampening vibration for enhanced feel. The tour-inspired head shape has a slightly thinner topline and sole with a large sweet spot for improved aesthetics and forgiveness to boost your confidence.

 

Built from 17-4 stainless steel, Callaway X-22 Irons employ something called "Precision Notch Weighting," more weight is positioned closer to the perimeter which increases the moment-of-inertia (MOI) for more forgiveness and increased stability while at the same time keeping the center of gravity at an optimal position for that "ideal" trajectory as well as providing added feel.

• Precision Notch Weighting: Precisely positions more weight to the perimeter of the iron to create a higher moment of inertia (MOI) for greater forgiveness and stability while maintaining the center of gravity position that produces ideal trajectories and feel.

 

• Tour-Inspired Head Shape: Our engineers took elements designed for Tour players, like a thinner top line and narrower sole, and incorporated them into highly forgiving irons with a higher MOI so they can be played by a wide range of golfers.

 

• Modified Tru-Bore: An advanced version of the original Tru-Bore design, the polycarbonate tip plug at the end of the shaft dampens vibration for enhanced feel and performance.

 

• VFT Technology: VFT Technology maximizes ball speed and perimeter weighting for more distance and forgiveness; S2H2 increases discretionary weight by removing it from the hosel and repositioning it in the perimeter of the clubhead; 360-Degree Undercut Channel maximizes perimeter weighting by moving the CG lower and farther back in the clubhead, enlarging the hitting area and stabilizing the clubhead for more forgiveness.

  I'm really glad I made this purchase as I was looking to upgrade. I have hit these clubs on four different occasions in the Dome and they really fell good. It's all about being confident and these irons are the real deal.

  Absolutely amazing! These are a irons for all types of golfer as they are very forgiving and still easy to shape shots with. Was hitting 180 with a 7 iron but now with the x22 im using and easy 8.

  Have played Callaway Hawkeye VFT’s for about 8 years. Played some good golf (for an average golfer) over the years with them. So when it came time to purchase a new set I stuck with Callaway and went for the X22 steel shaft. These clubs are are simply AWESOME! Over the past 8 week my handicap has come down 6 strokes. They just inspire confidence when you step up to a shot. Callaway you “nailed it” with these clubs!

  Excellent irons easy to hit because of the weighted sole have become a big fan of Callaway X-22 irons over the past years Changed from TM 360 irons that I used for 10 yrs much more forgiving bad hits and good hits are even better.

  Great feel and very accurate. I've gained a distance of at least 10 more yards per club. The design is simple and elegant. Love my Callaway X-22 irons.
